I’m Clare, City East’s business advisor. I started my career in IT before deciding to hit the books again at night, studying Business Studies at the University of Ulster. After a few years in the glitzy world of television production, I caught the entrepreneurial bug. Since 2007, I’ve launched four businesses – from commercial cleaning to e-commerce, and even an influencer business.
With 17 years of hands-on experience in starting and running my businesses, I’ve got plenty of advice, tips, and a few stories! I’m here to help both start-ups and established businesses find their footing. I love working with clients, helping them to understand their current position and map out their next steps. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a client gain confidence and truly believe in their ability to launch and grow their business.
When I’m not in business mode, you’ll find me making candles (hard work but very zen) and taking long walks with my French Bulldog, CoCo. She’s got the personality of a clown and is a champion napper.
