As 2025 comes to a close, it feels like the perfect time to pause, reflect, and celebrate what has been a hugely positive year at East Belfast Enterprise.
This year has been about more than just bricks and mortar. It’s been about progress, community, sustainability, and bringing the people in our building together. From major infrastructure improvements to memorable moments shared with our tenants, 2025 has been one to be proud of.
Below is our 2025 wrapped – a look back at some of the milestones that shaped the year.
Supporting a Greener Future
Sustainability was a major focus for us in 2025.
We completed the installation of EV chargers, making it easier for tenants and visitors to choose greener travel options. This was followed by the installation of solar panels on our City East building, a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint and investing in long-term energy efficiency.
Both projects reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting sustainable business practices across East Belfast.

Putting People First
This year, East Belfast Enterprise became the first enterprise agency to achieve ‘Member’ status of The Belfast Promise – a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. This commitment reinforces our dedication to improving outcomes for children and young people and supporting a fairer, more inclusive city.
We were also delighted to become a JAM Card Friendly Business, ensuring our building is welcoming and accessible for people with hidden disabilities.

A Visit from the Lord Mayor
One of the highlights of the year was welcoming the Belfast Lord Mayor to East Belfast Enterprise. The visit was a great opportunity to showcase the work happening within our building, the businesses we support, and the role we play in the wider local economy.

Community, Fun & Fundraising
2025 wasn’t all work – we made time to have fun and bring people together.
We celebrated Wimbledon-themed tenants event by screening the tennis on the big screen and introducing tenants to pickleball, which proved to be a big hit and sparked plenty of friendly competition.
We also came together to raise £810 for Macmillan Cancer Support, thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our tenants and wider community.

Celebrating Our Tenants
Our tenants are at the heart of everything we do, and this year gave us plenty of chances to celebrate together.
From a lively Halloween party filled with creativity and costumes, to rounding off the year with our Christmas party, these events were a great reminder of the strong sense of community within East Belfast Enterprise. They gave everyone a chance to step away from their desks, connect with one another, and enjoy the building as more than just a workplace.

Looking Ahead to 2026
As we head into a new year, we’re excited to build on everything achieved in 2025. With strong foundations, a supportive community, and ambitious plans ahead, we’re looking forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and shared success.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the East Belfast Enterprise journey this year – we can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.
If you want to join our community, we have limited offices available in Belfast and some hot-desking space.
